چکیده
An ideal self-adjusting environment requires adapting human thermal comfort automatically and continuously measuring the changes in comfort. According to PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) model, could be evaluated by biometric data environmental data. In this paper, we proposed a method estimate through small number of wearable sensors based on machine learning. There are two typical definitions comfort: subjective representing perception heat objective calculated formula. We used questionnaire formula obtain correct label for kinds comfort, respectively. Among three learning models, random forest has 0.73 MAE, which is suitable estimating 7-level neural network 0.47 investigated estimation accuracy changing sensors' combinations. As result, still roughly

Gait posture estimation using wearable acceleration and gyro sensors.
A method for gait analysis using wearable acceleration sensors and gyro sensors is proposed in this work. The volunteers wore sensor units that included a tri-axis acceleration sensor and three single axis gyro sensors. The angular velocity data measured by the gyro sensors were used to estimate the translational acceleration in the gait analysis. The translational acceleration was then subtrac...

This research introduces a mixed-method framework to estimate metabolic rate and clothing insulation as objective and quantitative variables. Methods included automated visual diaries and both environmental and wearable sensors. Applying this framework in an exploratory study, during the winters of 2012 and 2013, allowed empirical probabilities of metabolic rate and clothing insulation values t...
متن کاملActivity and Location Recognition Using Wearable Sensors
C ontext awareness—determining a person’s current location and recognizing what he or she is doing—is a key functionality in many pervasive computing applications. Locationsensing techniques are based on either relative or absolute position measurements.1 Much of the current research in this area, described in the “Related Work” sidebar, uses absolute-measurement–based approaches (also called r...
